UNDERWATER PHOTOGRAPHY COURSES - KOH TAO, THAILAND
Welcome to Dive4Photos, Thailand’s only dedicated underwater photography facility. Located on the beautiful island of Koh Tao in the Gulf of Thailand, surrounded by warm tropical water that is teaming with marine life, you can learn how to take amazing underwater images under the instruction of professional underwater photographer and PADI MSDT Alex Tyrrell in association with Dive Point who operate the most spacious, comfortable & photographer-friendly dive boat on the island.
Please take a look through the website. On the Photo Courses pages you can see the different types of underwater photography training options available at Dive4Photos, together with general dive training applicable to underwater imaging, like Advanced Buoyancy Control and PADI Self-Reliant Diver, as well as Photo Editing Courses covering the post production techniques required for great underwater images and the Equipment available to use on the workshops. For a schedule of upcoming Photo Workshops and Courses, please see the Course Calendar. You can also see images from Alex and his students in the Gallery, keep up to date with events on the Dive4Photos News page and download copies of underwater photography articles that Alex has written from the Downloads page. For information on Koh Tao, take a look at the Koh Tao page.
Dive4Photos conducts all courses from a private and spacious Air-Conditioned Classroom, making for comfortable learning conditions in a relaxed, peaceful environment. Located in Mae Haad, it is only a short walk to the dive boat departure points and numerous restaurants, coffee shops & convenience stores.
Alex is experienced in using and teaching with all camera formats and a variety of different brands. So whether you use a Compact, Mirrorless or DSLR system, Alex can help you improve your images. Dive4Photos uses the most spacious, comfortable and photographer-friendly dive boat on the island, that has a set schedule so we know what dive sites we are going each day and exactly how long we will be at the site to maximise the time we can spend underwater. More time underwater equals more time taking photos to practice the techniques covered on the courses. With minimum dive times of 60 minutes (air supply permitting) and up to 90 minutes on some shallow afternoon dives you will get ample time to perfect your underwater photography skills.
New for 2015 - Dive4Photos now have Nikon DSLR’s in Subal housings with a selection of lenses from fisheye to macro, so you can now learn with pro-level camera equipment on our underwater photo courses.
If you want to contact Dive4photos for information, please send a message to Alex from the Contact page or by email. You can also follow us on Facebook.
